A "Moderate Beheading"

Robert Spencer coins the term “Moderate Beheading” as the culprit is the founder of “Bridges TV,” founded to counter negative stereotypes of Muslims.

The background buzz on the internet about the beheading of Aasiya Zubair Hassan in Buffalo is finally making headway into the three-letter networks.   BBC has an article today, though they make no mention of the stated purpose of Bridges TV.  CNN has two articles, and water down the mission of Bridges TV:

He launched Bridges TV, billed as the first English-language cable channel targeting Muslims inside the United States, in 2004. At the time, Hassan said he hoped the network would balance negative portrayals of Muslims following the attacks of September 11, 2001.

MSNBC makes no mention of beheadings in Buffalo.

ABC News picks up the AP wire story, and picks up on the irony of a Moderate Muslim Beheading.

Why Second Degree Murder?  Wouldn’t a beheading indicate intent and forethought?  There just happened to be a weapon at the TV studio capable of decapitating someone?

America beware.  There is no “moderation” in the “religion” of submission.
